Description
High current transformers as toroidal transformer in encapsulated design up to 30,000 A
A tape ring core provided with the primary winding forms the so-called excitation unit. The secondary voltage is induced on a high-current bar passed through the residual hole of the excitation unit, which is directly connected to the load. A voltage increase results, by several excitation units combined with each other. The induced voltage is doubled or the secondary current is halved if the high current bar is passed through the excitation unit twice.
The excitation unit is completely potted and designed with IP54 protection. The compact potted design allows installation both vertically and horizontally.
